Robben Lay Shaw, 46, Topeka, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at a Topeka Hospital after a long illness.
Robben was born June 24, 1959 in Brunswick, GA, the daughter of James C. and Barbara A. Bennett Lay, Sr.
She had been employed at Frito Lay for 21 years and was a member of B.C.T. & G.M. Union, Local 219.
She was a member of Community Church.
Robben is survived by her parents; Jim and Barbara Lay; two sons, Johnathon Lay and Colin Shaw; two sisters, Becky Johnson and Pam Lay, all of Topeka; two brothers, Jim Lay, Jr., Topeka and John G. Lay, Tampa, Florida; Five nieces and Two Nephews.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Robben will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, and family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
