Rita F. Figgs, 82, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Rita was born January 12, 1932, in Ogden, Kansas, daughter of Albert and Barbara Watson. While she was in high school, she worked with her friend, Mary, at the Jayhawk Theatre, Topeka. Rita graduated from Hayden Catholic High School.
Rita married Jack Figgs on July 22, 1950.
She worked at Jostens Printing for many years.
Rita is survived by her husband, Jack, children, Larry and Rick Figgs, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Figgs.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Cremation will follow services. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
