Richard Wolfe

Richard "Dick" Wolfe, 77, passed away peacefully Monday, April 6, 2009 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1931 in Topeka, KS, the son of the late Harold B. & Margaret Wolfe.
He married Jo Ann Moran on April 25, 1950, she survives.
Richard and his father ran Harold & Richard Wolfe Camera Shop in Holiday Square, Topeka for many years. He later went on to own and operate Wolfe Properties with his wife Jo Ann and the help of their son Craig.
Survivors include three children, Connie (Steve) Schoenfeldt, Topeka, Terri (Jim) Kerby, Bonner Springs, Craig (Robin) Wolfe, Topeka, 5 grandchildren Corey(Marc) Garrett, Derek (Deneen) Schoenfeldt, Travis (Becky) Hochard, Keith Wolfe, Calvin Wolfe, 6 great grandchildren, Blake, Kade, Kyson, Reese, Langston, Max, and brother, Robert Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Darren Schoenfeldt and two brothers, Harold and Jack Wolfe.
Richard was a kind and generous man who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Cremation is planned. Graveside inurnment services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
