Richard D. Moore

Richard D. "Dick" Moore, 80, Topeka, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021.

He was born April 5, 1941, in Horton, Kansas, the son of Fred and Frances (Mick) Moore. He graduated from Topeka High School and attended Emporia State University.

Dick began his career with Cla-Mar in 1972 as a salesman, later becoming president and retired in 2015 after 49 years with the company.

He was a member of Topeka Baptist Church.

On February 23, 1999, he married Jeannie in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Brian (Jennifer) Moore, Wildwood, MO; Scott (Dena) Moore; and Jason (Kaki) Moore, all of Osage Beach, MO; five grandchildren, Zoe, Xander, Derek, Rylie, and Collin Moore; and sister, Marla McKinley, Topeka.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Mark Moore.

Dick loved his family and friends and the time he spent with them. He was a people person that loved being around others as much as they loved being around him.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Topeka Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Baptist Church, 4500 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66610.
