Richard M. Fennell, 65, of Marysville, Kansas passed away, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Topeka, Kansas after a brief, yet valiant battle against cancer.
Richard was born June 23, 1947 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Leroy R. and Thelma Fennell.
Richard was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School class of 1965 and Tulsa Tech, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Nancy (Edens) Fennell; his parents of Greensburg Care Center, Greensburg, PA.; a brother Jeffrey A. Fennell & wife Christine of Ardara, PA; eight godchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and one great niece, Shari, Christopher, Fallon, Jessi, Korbyn, Catie, Lauren, Angie, Andrea and Rilee.
Cremation is planned. Family requests that memorial contributions be made to Midland Care Hospice Services, 200 SW Frazier Cir, Topeka, KS 66606.
