Our loving mother, Rhoda Marie Ellis, 61, Topeka, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at a local hospital.
She was born September 1, 1942, to George and Emma Washington. She was the youngest of 12 children. Preceding her in death were four siblings. She is survived by her husband, James J. Ellis, Sr., five sisters and 2 brothers. She is also survived by her children: Rhonda Ellis, Rena Ellis, Rolanda Ellis, James Ellis, Jr., Rita Ellis, Renita Ellis. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tiara Puck, Asia Puck,, Matthew Ellis, Michael Ellis and Samuel Ellis.
Mrs. Ellis was cremated. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 2701 SE Croco Rd. Topeka, Kansas 66605.
