Rheinetta M.(Tabbert) Doty
Rheinetta M. (Tabbert) Doty, 77, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at her home.
She was born February 14, 1929 in Oskaloosa, KS, the daughter of Louie and Alma Tabbert.
Rheinetta retired from Kansas State High School Activities Association where she was an administrative secretary and office manager.
She was united in marriage to Harold R. Doty. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Rheinetta is survived by one daughter, Debra Ball and her husband, Brad of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren, Tracee Watts, Tara Clay, Trenton Watts, Troy Watts, and Alexandria Ball; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Briley; two sisters, Roberta Henley and Mary Sutter; and three brothers, Marvin "Barney" Tabbert, Eugene "Cotton" Tabbert, and Don Tabbert. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Doty will lie in state after 6:00 p.m. on Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel and the family will receive friends at the funeral home that evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66608.
