Rena Louise Irwin, 80, of Topeka, passed away September 15, 2014, in Topeka.
She was born February 25, 1934, in Reading, Kansas, to Alfred H. and Esther (Willits) Steen.
Rena was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 36 years.
She married Edward F. Irwin, February 20, 1954, in Osage City.
Rena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Kirk Irwin.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Allison Irwin, Wichita, grandsons, Kyle and Kele Irwin, sister, Phyllis Lawless, Osage City, and two brothers, Neil Steen, Glencoe, CA, and Bennie Steen, Overbrook.
Memorial service were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Inurnment followed at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
