Rebecca L. "Becky" Brooks, 47, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007.
Becky was born May 29, 1960 in Topeka, the daughter of Hoover and Zepora (Jones) Brooks. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1979 and later attended Washburn University.
Becky worked for K.N.I. as a C.N.A.
Survivors include her brothers, Harvey Brooks and his wife, Michelle and Lorrell Brooks, all of Topeka; three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlena J. McCroy.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2007 at Topeka Cemetery. Becky will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel from noon until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
