Raymond Mcdaniel
Raymond L. "Mac" McDaniel, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2005.
He was born in Yates Center, KS on June 20, 1928, the son of Oscar L. and Bessie G. Williams McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel worked for Southwestern Bell in Hutchinson, Independence and Topeka and retired in 1986 after 38 years of service.
He married Marjorie Lee Steele on June 10, 1951in Yates Center. She passed away on December 15, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter Pamela Tull, Topeka, and a son Roger McDaniel of Augusta, KS; a brother, Ed McDaniel of Gardner, KS and a sister, Flossie Duffield of Granite City, IL. Two grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Graveside Inurnment services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Yates Center Cemetery in Yates Center, KS.
