Raymond M. Vaught, 88, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
Raymond was born November 30, 1925, in Mayetta, KS, son of John and Martha Sivils Vaught. He graduated from Washburn University.
Raymond honorably served during WWII in the US Navy, and later, the US Air Force Reserves.
Raymond married Delores Jean Moore in 1946; she preceded him in death in 1971. He later married Betty Vogel Pashman in 1973 in Topeka, KS; she survives.
He was employed as a CPA and later established his own CPA firm of Yaden and Vaught (to be joined later by Summers).
Raymond enjoyed gardening and spending time on his farm in Mayetta.
Raymond is also survived by his children, Ronald Vaught and Deborah Bacon, stepson, Dave Pashman, sister, Rosemary Robertson, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, at Mount Hope Chapel, 17th & Fairlawn, Topeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Private entombment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
