Randall Eugene "Randy" Williams, 72, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
He was born January 2, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Harold L. and Leota G. (Keitzman) Williams. He was a graduate of Topeka High School and received his Bachelors and Master's Degree from Kansas University.
Randy was employed by the State of Kansas for many years until retiring.
He was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church in Topeka, Mensa International Society and the Dowsing Society Of Kansas City Inc.
Survivors include his sister, Carol L. Williams of Topeka; his brother, Ronald "Herb" Williams of Portland, ME; two nephews, Isaiah (Rebecca) Williams, Abraham Williams; and a niece, Caroline Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kaylene C. Williams; and his brother, David A. Williams.
Randy was a dedicated son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, KU basketball, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604. The family requests those attending to be vaccinated or wear a mask and your favorite KU shirt.
