Ralph Raymond Moser, 85, of Topeka, died on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1921 in Augusta, the son of Edward and Lillie Boucher Moser. He graduated from Andover High School in 1939. Ralph was employed by Beech Aircraft before joining the Army. He was a veteran of WWII. He resided in Moran before moving to Iola in 1953 and then moved to Topeka in 2002. Ralph began his insurance career in 1953 and became an independent agent in 1960 and continued until retirement in 1984. As a 31 year member of Iola Industries, he held various positions including President. He was also a trustee at Allen County Community College. Ralph was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola and attended Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church since moving to Topeka. Family, community and church were very important to him. Ralph married Viola Anna James on January 10, 1942 in her family home in Andover. They were married 65 years. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Rita Roeder (Robert) and Gail Stich (Ron), both of Topeka, Deb Connell (Mike) of Kansas City, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two brothers, Robert Moser of Wichita and Eugene Moser of Augusta. Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter, LeAnna Kay during infancy. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola with private inurnment in Andover, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 301 E. Madison, Iola, KS 66749, Allen County Community College, 1801 N.
