Ralph Glasgow
Ralph R. Glasgow, 83, of Topeka, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Lexington Park.
He was born December 5, 1920 at Vilets, Kansas the son of Walter and Mary Barnett Glasgow. He was raised in Frankfort, Kansas and was a 1938 graduate of Frankfort High School.
Ralph served in the U.S. .Army Air Corps from 1941 until 1946.
Following his military discharge he returned to Frankfort and ran the family farm until 1956 when he moved to Topeka. He began employment with the Kansas Department of Transportation in 1956 and retired in 1973.
He married Marion R. James June 1944. She preceded him in death January 7, 2000. Survivors inlcude: one son, Larry and his wife Dorothy Glasgow of Topeka, five grandchildren, Chris Glasgow, Stephanie Hodge, Mike Burgoon, Jason Burgoon and Ruby Johnson. He is aso survived by hsi former daughter in law, Susan Glasgow of Topeka and one sister, Phyllis Sadlowski of Green Valley, Arizona.
Cremation is planned. Private family services will be held at Penwell-Gabels Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contirbutions may be given to Lexington Park, 1031 SW Fleming Ct., Topeka, KS 66604. Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.penwellgabel.com
