Rachel Seastrom
Rachel "Louise" Seastrom, 71, of Topeka, passed away Fri., Nov. 21, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1937 in Topeka, the daughter of Clarence R. Hollar and Rachel E.(Hollar) Redenbaugh.
She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, retiring in 2007. She was a life member of the Kansas Historical Society.
Survivors include three children, Donna Page, Alan Seastrom and Mark Seastrom, all of Topeka; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services for Louise will be at 1:00 p.m., Tues., Nov. 25 at Auburn Cemetery. She will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 24 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society Heartland Division, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd, Topeka, KS 66604 or Topeka Cat Association, 1719 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604.
