Rachel Jo Beall, 34, of Emmett, KS, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011.
Rachel was born January 22, 1977, in Topeka, daughter of Joseph and Kimberly (Martin) Pinkley. She graduated from Olathe South High School, Baker University with her bachelor of science in nursing in 2001, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Southern Indiana in 2011 with her master's degree in ARNP-C in Family Practice. Rachel worked as a nurse practitioner at Community Health Care of Onaga. She loved spending time with her family and friends, caring for her animals, and taking care of others around her.
She was united in marriage to Oliver Beall on December 4, 2004, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Easton.
Rachel is survived by her husband Oliver Beall, Emmett; parents, Kimberly (Steven) McBee, Shawnee; and Joseph Pinkley and fiancée Debbie Erskine, Olathe; sister, Jordyn (Bradley) Phipps, Gardner; step-siblings, Megan and Jeffrey McBee; grandmothers, Rose Pinkley and Linda Martin, both of Topeka; great grandfather, Frank Knernschield, Topeka; great grandmother, Mona Keltner, Topeka; mother-in-law, Victoria Beall, Lansing; aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Charlotte Sue Munzer, grandfathers, Richard Martin, Fred Pinkley and Don Munzer; great grandfather, Elbert Keltner; and father-in-law, Michael Beall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011, at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church, Topeka. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Rachel will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, and a celebration of her life will follow.
