Quinton Lee Pasley, 67, of Topeka, fell asleep on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and is awaiting the return of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was born October 13, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas. Quinton is the son of Robert and Eleanor Pasley. He grew up in Titusville, FL and Topeka, KS and graduated from Topeka West High School in 1973. He graduated at the top of his class at Vo-Tech in 1975 where he studied electronics.
After Vo-Tech he worked at USPS Repair Facility at Forbes Field from 1975-1979. Then again from 1985-2016.
He married Karen Huffman in 1979 and they moved to Spokane, Washington, where they had 2 sons, Daniel and David. They moved back to Topeka in 1985. They divorced in 1992.
He married Trudy Stodden in 1997. They lived in Topeka and had 1 son, Eric. They divorced in 2000.
Quinton loved his dogs Pokey, Kato, Arrow and many more. His hobbies included Radio Controlled replica airplanes, science, politics, and electronics. He owned a remodeling company, Topeka Renovations in the 70s. Quinton could rebuild most any motor, vehicle or computer down to the microchip. He loved to collect knowledge. He liked to play the guitar, especially his 12 string. He was also a great bowler.
He was a man of simple faith, who hosted in-home fellowship and bible study in the 80s. He had a great love for God which is how most people got to know Quinton and became his friend.
Survivors include his three sons, Daniel Pasley (Jamie), Topeka, KS; David Pasley, Boulder, CO; Eric Pasley, Topeka, KS. One sister Devern Montney, one brother Kevin Pasley. Two grandsons Alexander and Gavin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Eleanor Pasley.
Graveside services are on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 10:30 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
