Quincy Melvon Miller, 87, of Osage City, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023.
He was born December 7, 1935, in Silver Lake, Kansas, the son of Ralph and Irene (Brockish) Miller. He graduated from Rossville High School in 1954 and served in the Army in 1959 & 60. He was stationed in Germany.
Quincy was employed at GoodYear Tire & Rubber Company, retiring after 30 years of service.
Mr. Miller was a member of Church of Christ, Rural Water #7 board member, and served as Grant Township Clerk.
On March 14, 1959, he married Margaret Sue Hamner in Topeka. She survives. Together they had six children. Other survivors include their children, Robert (Rita) Miller, Jolene (Wayne) Clark, Vietta (Rick) Eubanks, and Alois (Justin) Whalen; two brothers, Earl and Raymond Miller; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Celeste Carol Miller, his oldest daughter, Veronica (Miles) Johnson in 2022 and brother, LeRoy Miller.
Quincy enjoyed travel, being outdoors and antique tractors.
A celebration of Quincy's life will be held on June 18, 2023, 2 pm at the Section Church of Christ outside of Osage City.
