Over the years she belonged to several organizations; Church Bible Study, PTO, Richland and Dover 4-H Clubs, HDU Ladies Aid, Haskell Creek Club, Cub Scouts and Highland Park Alumni Association and has volunteered for organizations and individuals, in any capacity that she could. She participated in the Fleming Retirement group. She was secretary-treasurer of HPHS Class of 1950 Alumni and helped with planning of reunions.
