Phyllis Charlene Glover, 80, Topeka, died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at her home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1925 in Topeka, the daughter of Ernest Nobel and Myrtle Edith Beasore Casebier. She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Strickler's Business College.
Mrs. Glover worked in the accounting department of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and attended Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Potentate Ladies of the Arab Shrine and the Ladies of the Moose.
She married Cap Charles Glover on March 8, 1947 in Topeka. He died January 26, 1997 in Topeka.
Survivors include her son, Steven Charles Glover, Topeka; two brothers, Louis J. Casebier, Topeka, and Harlan E. Casebier, Gardnerville, NV; one sister, Mary Frances Bezingue, Topeka; two granddaughters, Becki and Lacy Glover.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Glover will lie in state after noon Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
