He was born Oct. 8, 1919 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Lindsay V. and Emma Mullinex Keller.

He grew up and attended schools in the Delia community. He graduated from Delia High School in 1937 and Clark's Business College in 1950. The last half of his working years he spent with the State Dept. of Revenue, retiring in 1984 after twenty eight years of service.

Philip was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church and the Delia Masonic Lodge # 419.

Philip wanted to thank the people that were kind to him all through his life, especially his neighbors at Brewster Place and the employees, nursing staff and Mrs. McCrite of McCrite Plaza, who were very cordial and professional in taking care of him in his last years. A special heartfelt thanks to Joab, Willie and Theresa, who were such good caregivers over the past few years.

He married Lillian Pobrislo on June 2, 1943. She passed away August 9, 2004. Lillian was the one that helped him the most through life. If there is a hereafter, he hopes the Lord will reward his wife with a wonderful and eternal life.
