Peter Miglionico, 80, of Topeka, passed away, Wednesday, August 3, 2005.
He was born September 17, 1924 in Queens, NY the son of Anthony and Grace Miglionico.
Mr. Miglionico was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He received two purple hearts and the Bronze Star.
He was a fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.
He was a 50 year member of Local #200 Plumbers Union in New York. Following his retirement he came to Topeka in 1986.
He married Kathryn Hardison November 17, 1946 in Queens, NY. She survives. Other survivors include his five children, Peter and his wife Antoinette, Patchogue, NY; Larry and his wife Penny, Carbondale, KS; Diane McGhee and her husband Mac, Madison, KS; Paul and his wife Catherine, Carbondale, KS; Michael and his wife Misako, Okinawa, Japan, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 5, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private family interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
