Penny Rae Thieme died March 24, 2018 at her home. Penny was born in Seneca, KS to Omar and Dorothy (Jenkins) Thieme. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Thieme) Rice, sister, Pamela Thieme, Seattle, WA, brothers; Craig Thieme, Mulvane, KS, and James Rice, Topeka, and her friends at Sunflower Support.
Penny graduated from Topeka High School in 1974. She worked in the THS cafeteria for 25 years.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at 10:00 a.m. at West Side Christian Church, 432 SW Lindenwood Ave., where Penny was a member.
