Peggy M. Wright

Peggy Wright, 73 Topeka, died at her home July 22, 2003 with':
her husband and her twin at her side after a four year battle with cancer.
She and her identical twin sister Betty Sanders were born December
22, 1929 in London, England, the daughters of Jason and Ethel Finch. They
lived through the Blitz in London along with their sister Joan Muth, of -!
London, England during World War II.
Peggy married John William Wright on December 23, 1949 who also
survives. In October 1960, they emigrated to America with their two sons
Christopher John, of Topeka and Andrew Charles of Derby, KS. She worked in
the claims department at Blue Cross and Blue Shield from 1965 until the birth
of her daughter Laura Elizabeth, of Lawrence, KS in 1970. She then continued
to help manage her husband:':s business until their retirement in 1993o
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Topeka where
she did volunteer work until the onset of her illness. She was very devoted
to her family. Her other interests included dancing, knitting, reading,

walking twid taking care of her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her grandson Jonathan Gates Wright. Other survivors include two granddaughters, Jessica Wright, a sophomore at the University of Kansas, and Jill Wright, a sophomore at Seaman High School.
