Mr. Paul K. Wilson, 55, of Topeka died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, September 29, 2002. He was born July 19, 1947, Charles City, IA. to Paul K. and Lorene Wilson Dickhoff.
He graduated from Oskaloosa High School in Iowa and Washburn University in Topeka. He served in the Air Force from 1967 to 1971.
He was the Director of Human Resources for Shawnee County and previously held positions with the Kansas Association of Public Employees and the State of Kansas. He was a board member of the Mid-America Labor Management Conference, volunteer for United Way, and active in Washburn Ichabod Club.
He is survived by two sons, Daniel and Jacob, and a daughter Jayme all of Topeka. His mother, Lorene Dickhoff, Oskaloosa, IA., two sisters Lois Grimes of West Union, IA, and Diane Fynaardt, Pella, IA. and his fiance Lynn Baumeister of Topeka.
Mr. Wilson will lie in state beginning Wedneday, October 2, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. The family receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held in Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 11:00 A. M. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery.
