Paul Wesley Bombardier, 60, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008.
He was born March 19, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Paul E. and Almeda R. (White) Bombardier. He was a graduate of Minneapolis High School in Minneapolis, Kansas and received a degree in business from Washburn University in Topeka. He served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970 during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by M.C. Industries in Topeka for a number of years as well as Sunflower Rents in Topeka for ten years. He was an avid pool player at Terry's Billards in Topeka and a former member of the Flint Hills Bass Association.
Paul married Eileen J. Wilcox on January 8, 1968 in Minneapolis, KS. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Mark Bombardier and wife, Dawn and Mitch Bombardier and wife, Jennifer; a sister, Ruth Fritton; a brother, Thomas Bombardier; five grandchildren, Dallas and Brent Buckley, Bailee, Ella and Isaac Bombardier, all of Topeka.
Mr. Bombardier was cremated. Memorial services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Private family inurnment will be at Minneapolis Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paul Bombardier Memorial Fund, sent in care of UMB Bank, 830 SW Lane, Topeka, KS 66606.
