Patsy Sue Johnson

Patsy Sue Johnson, 56, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born March 26, 1965, in Fort Knox Kentucky, the daughter of Max and Hermine Johnson, both deceased. Patsy loved her family deeply and after graduating from Highland Park High School, her focus was on her two daughters, Jessica and Brandi. Later in life, she married her high school sweetheart, Jeff Butts, and praised him until his death a few years back. Patsy currently lived with her youngest daughter Brandi and her three young children whom Patsy felt the sun rose and set for. Patsy's grandchildren through Brandi are Abigail, Emma, and Jedidiah.

Her other surviving daughter is Jessica Ann Marie Ralls. Patsy's grandchildren through Jessica are Isaiah, Noah, Aubrey, and Oden. Patsy deeply loved both her daughters, Jessica and Brandi, as well as all her grandchildren; she could never spend enough time with them.

Patsy is survived by her sister, Judy and her children, brother Roy and his children, and Debbie and her children.

A Funeral Ceremony will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Penwell-Gabel-Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka. The family will greet friends an hour before the service time. Cremation will follow the service.

Because Patsy was wheelchair-bound for years due to Multiple Sclerosis and her genuine love for children and her heartfelt love for Jesus Christ our Lord, instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
