Patricia R. Castle, 74, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. She was born January 27, 1941, in Topeka, the daughter of Roy and Rose (Hooper) Castle.
Patricia was a 1959 graduate of Seaman High School and attended Washburn University and Columbia Junior College. She worked as a prison guard for the State of California and in Topeka, and at Walmart in many capacities.
Patricia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and American Legion Post 400 Auxiliary.
Survivors include brother, Albert (Hazel) Castle; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Castle, Jr. and James Castle; and sister, Verni Rippe.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 SW Kingsrow Road, Topeka. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the church. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
