Patricia Lee "Pat" Brauer, 69, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022.
She was born June 7, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Walter Clark and Lucille Rose (Bell) Patterson. She was a graduate of Miami High School, Miami, OK and received a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Pittsburg State University.
Pat was employed by the Mabee Library at Washburn University in Topeka, retiring in 2016.
She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Hannah Circle in Topeka.
Survivors include her son, James L. Brauer of Topeka; her sister, Barbara (John) Highland of Miami, OK; her brother, David (Cindy) Patterson of Stillwater, OK; two nieces, Kelly (Justin) Highland McKellar and Brioni Patterson; and two nephews, Jeff (Pamela) Highland and Henry Patterson, as well as Pat's canine companion, Bella.
Patricia loved, art, traveling, jigsaw puzzles, collecting porcelain animals, and attending film festivals.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 4, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 600 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS 66603.
