Pamela Grutzmacher-Jepson, 59, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2007, in Topeka. She was born on August 28, 1947, in Westmoreland, KS the daughter of Col. Warren H. and Dorothy J. (Grutzmacher) Jepson. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Virginia in 1965, and graduated from Kansas State University with a BA Degree in Psychology in 1970. Pamela was employed as a social worker in Price Williams County, VA. Pamela had dedicated her life to the care and well-being of children. She had lived in Northern Virginia and retired to Kansas in 2004. She was a member of Unity of Fairfax, VA and had volunteered at Fairfax County Park Authority - Elanor C. Lawrence - V.O.D. Survivors include her father: Col. Warren H. Jepson of Topeka; two brothers: Warren H. Jepson, Jr. (Maria) of Oak Park, IL, Barry W. Jepson (Jill) of Harveyville, KS; a "sister": Shirley Baxley of Topeka; and 7 nieces and nephews. Pamela bequeathed her body to the University of Kansas for medical research. A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2007, in Wesley Hall, Aldersgate Village. Private inurnment will take place in Westmoreland Cemetery.
