Pamela C. Davis, 63, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011.
She was born September 18, 1948 in Bigelow, KS, the daughter of Robert Joseph and Evelyn Marie (Thayer) Kotel. She was a 1966 graduate of Frankfort High School and later graduated from Brown Mackie Business College in Salina.
She was employed by the State of Kansas from 1967 until retiring in 2011.
Pam married Roger E. Davis on July 11, 1971 in Frankfort, KS. He survives. Other survivors include her brother, Robert Kotel, Lathrup, CA; three sisters, Paula Ferguson, Dover, KS, Denise Kotel, Prairie Village, KS and Jackie Meyer, Kansas City, MO; and two nephews, Chad and Dustin Kotel.
A funeral ceremony will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Davis will lie in state after 3 p.m., Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to MO-KAN PET PARTNERS, P.O.
