Othel Jones Sr., 84, of Topeka, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019.
He was born July 1, 1934 in Brinkley, AR the son of Herman and Ophir (Alexander) Jones.
Othel retired Sgt. First Class from the United States Army in 1976 at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Othel married Johanna (Herrmann) on November 8, 1958 in Nuremberg Germany, she survives.
Other survivors include a son, William Jones; daughter Lulita Jones; son Othel Jones, Jr.; daughter, Ozell Jones; daughter, Rose Jones Roldan; son, Mark Jones son, Manfred Jones and a sister Darlene Jones-Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Venard Jones, Billy Frank Jones, Fred Jones, Aaron Jones and Alexander Jones.
