Ora Mae Leeth

Ora Mae Leeth, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on July 15, 1912 in Lyon Co., the daughter of Thomas and Lillian Monday Chenoweth. She lived most of her life in Topeka. She was a nurses aide for many years and a homemaker. She married Clarence M. Leeth on October 5, 1929 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her son, Galen Leeth on January 6, 2000, and six older brothers. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Leeth of Scranton and Larry Leeth of Berryton, three grandchildren, Daryl, Beverly and Henry Leeth,and one great-grandchild, Chandler Leeth. She also has two step-granddaughters, Denise Kendall and Lori Mann and four step-great grandchildren, Hailey and Andrea Mann and Elizabeth and Clinton Kendall. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery. Burial will follow. Mrs. Leeth will lie in state after noon Monday at Penwell-Mid Town Chapel.
