Olive I. Schrader
Age 100, passed away August 26, 2003 in Topeka at a local care facility.
She was born August 7, 1903, in rural Coffey County, Kansas the daughter of Fred D. and Amy A. Thomas Schrader. She has resided in Topeka, Kansas for nearly 80 years.
After graduating from Waverly High School, she taught school in Osage County for several years. She moved to Topeka in the early 1920's where she worked as a bookkeeper for Mosly-Mack Ford Motor Company for many years. She also worked for a Mercedes-Benz and Studebaker Dealership having retired in 1967.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Topeka, Kansas. She was also a member of the Credit Womens Associaiton and the Holiday Park Neighborhood Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a Sister Mary Preston in 1973 and a Brother Frankie R. Schrader in 1909.

Barbara Swanson and her husband Frank Swanson and Family in Williamsburg, Kansas.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2003, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow the services at the Melvern Cemetery in Osage County.
Miss Schrader will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society 2625 NW Rochester Road Topeka, Kansas 66617.
