Ola Gordon Thompson, age 81, passed away September 14, 2002 at a local hospital. She was born February 28, 1921 at Stockton, Alabama the daughter of William E. and Virginia Richardson Carter.
She received her Registered Nursing degree in Mobile, Alabama. She had lived in Topeka, Kansas since 1947 and had worked for various hospitals and doctors in Topeka.
She was a member of Oakland Christian Church. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over fifty years.
She was married to Gordon E. Brokaw, he passed away in 1980. She was married to Alfred M. Thompson, he passed away in 1982.
She is survived by her daughter:
Michelle Brokaw Topeka, Ks.
Burial will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2002 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
