7. Background: Mrs. Zakeuke graduated from Rossville High School and attended Emporia State Teachers
College where she earned a teaching certificate to teach in rural elementary schools. She taught school until her
marriage to Herman Mansell. They were the parents of Patricia June Mansell Guth and Arlen Mansell. They were
divorced. She was a member of the University United Methodist Church in Topeka and a 50 year member of the
Dover Order of Eastern Star. She moved to Alma, Ks. in the 1930's and at one period was the director of the
Wabaunsee County Welfare Department. She later moved to Topeka and was the director of the Florence
Crittenton Home for unwed mothers. She also worked at the Supply Depot and Forbes prior to her retirement.

8. Relatives: Married to: Fred Zaleuke on November 1, 1952. He preceded her in death.

Chapel.

11. Visitation times, place: Mrs. Zaleuke will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town
Chapel.
