Norman married the love of his life, Sharon Ellis on August 21, 1966, in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include two children, Chris (Meghan) Furse and Lizabeth Furse; along with six grandchildren: Isabella, Alec, Nicholas, Francesca, Theodora, and Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

More than anything though, he loved his family.
