Norma Purvis Hill
Norma Purvis Hill, of Tecumseh, passed away on Saturday September 24th. She was born on June 9, 1942 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Norman "Bud" and Pauline Huff Purvis. She attended Kansas University and Washburn University. She was a homemaker and an avid volunteer at Doorstep, the Topeka Zoo and a number of other local organizations. Norma was an active member of West Side Baptist Church and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She married Kenneth Dillard Krehbiel and Alan Maxwell Hill. Both preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Alison Hill Tanner of Hillsborough, NC; daughter, Kathleen Krehbiel Boutis, her husband Nick and their three children, Talia, Kaden and Lida of Takoma Park, MD and a brother, Allen Purvis of Washington, D.C. A memorial service will be held at West Side Baptist Church, 4th and Fillmore at 10:30 on Monday October 3rd.
