Norma Ellen Morse, 81, Topeka, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born Nov. 13, 1924 in Topeka, the daughter of Oliver Wendell and Nancy Ellen Neith Morse.
Miss Morse worked at American Linen for over 35 years. She lived in Independence, MO for 13 years before coming back to Topeka in 2000.
She was a member of East Side Baptist Church, attended Kansas City Baptist Temple while in Independence, and was currently attending Topeka Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Jane Stone Breitsprecher, Valley Falls, KS, Margaret Turner Kelley, Independence, MO, six nieces, six nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
Miss Morse will lie in state after noon Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
