Norma Jean Smith

Norma J. Smith, 71, of Meriden, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2006 at her home with her daughter at her side. Norma was a retired LPN and enjoyed caring for elderly patients. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville W. Smith and great-grandson, Ryan W. Joyce. Survivors include one brother, Bob Klesath, one sister, Mary Swanson, three sons, Dale W. Smith, David A. Smith and Wm. Dean Smith, three daughters, Glenda J. Kreipe, Linda M. Collins and Karen S. Seyer, 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Mount Hope Chapel Mausoleum. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Norma will lie in state after 6:00 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
