Norma Jean Funk, 69, of Topeka, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka.
She married Leroy R. Funk February 18, 1956 in Topeka. They would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary in February 2006. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Alan Funk, Hurst, TX; Timothy Funk, Sr., Topeka; William Funk, Topeka: two daughters, Hazel Yocham, Yates Center, KS; Karen McFarland, Topeka; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Funk in October 1959.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2005 at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Funk will lie in state after 12:00 noon Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. The casket will remain closed. To leave a special mesage for the family please visit www.PenwellGabel.com
