Nicholas Ray Johnson

Nicholas Ray Johnson, 18, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on February 16, 1989 in Topeka the son of Richard and Janet Miller Johnson. Survivors include his father, Richard D. Johnson of Topeka, his mother, Janet Miller Johnson of Topeka, his step-mother, Donna Johnson of Topeka, one brother, Richard D. Johnson of Topeka, two step-brothers, Walter L. DeJong of Rogers, Arkansas, Bruce J. Reeves of Huntington Beach, California, one sister, Tanya J. Scott of Kansas City, Kansas, his grandmothers, Darlyna Driscoll of Topeka and Betty Johnson of Topeka and his grandfather, Ray Miller of McLouth, Kansas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Nicholas will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
