Naomi J. "Jean" Mick, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. She was 90.
Jean was born in Alma on December 4, 1926 to Matt and Ruth (Berroth) Bohn and married William H. "Bill" Mick on June 15th, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her daughter, Shirley (Mick) Coles.
Survivors include: A daughter; Tammy (Mick) Tafanelli, Ozawkie, KS, two sons; Danny Mick, Montgomery, TX and Kelly Mick, Lyndon, KS, three sisters; Della Parks, McPherson, KS; Judy Oppenlander, Wamego, KS; and Bernice Gudenkauf, Topeka, KS, four brothers; Charles Bohn, Alma, KS; Delbert Bohn, McPherson, KS; David Bohn, Alma, KS; Larry Bohn, Alma, KS; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Jean will lie in state and the family will receive visitors from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
