Nancy Marie Morgan, 71, of Topeka, died Thursday, September 26, 2002 at a Topeka care facility.
Miss Morgan was born July 25, 1931 at Grantville, Kansas the daughter of Earl Henley and Ruth Marie (Freshwater) Morgan.
She attended 76 grade school in rural Grantville, Kansas. After moving to Topeka in 1942 she attended special education classes.
She worked at both the old and the new YWCA's in Topeka. She retired in 1984.
Miss Morgan was a member of Seward Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
one sister, Harriet Morgan Topeka, KS
one brother, Thomas J. Morgan Topeka, KS
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and one brother.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2002 at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel. Miss Morgan will lie in state from 4:00 p.m. Saturday until 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
