Nancy E. Mosier

Nancy E. Mosier, 71, of Maple Hill, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 at a St. Marys hospital. She was born on November 13, 1935 in Parsons, the daughter of Daniel and Della P. Sexton Gunter.. She lived in the Auburn area before moving to the Maple Hill area. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church. Nancy married Melvin (Joe) Mosier on July 31, 1953 in Parsons. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1991. She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard L. Mosier on February 11, 1997. Survivors include one sister, Ruth Pappas of Parsons, her daugher-in-law, Diane L. Mosier of Maple Hill, three grandchildren, Dustin and Daniel of St. Marys and Karen Eamigh of Carbondale, four great-grandchildren, Alex, Justin, Emily and Hanna and her cousin, Peggy Witcher of Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Auburn Cemetery. Nancy will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Marys United Methodist Church, 211 N. 7th St., St. Marys, KS 66536.
