With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Nancy Lee Sena Bond, 80, who left this world February 15th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born July 17th, 1944, to George Von Holten & Mary Von Holten (Lakin).
She attended Wyandotte High School in Kanas City, Kansas. In 1962 she met the love of her life, Ronald Bond. They were married on January 19th, 1968, in Kansas City, Kansas. Together, they raised three kids: Jill, Robin, and Jeff, who were their pride and joy.
Nancy’s life was a beautiful testament to love, generosity, and adventure. She had an unwavering devotion to her family and friends, always putting others before herself and offering comfort, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever it was needed. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her generous spirit touched countless lives.
Nancy’s love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her journey continues beyond this world, but her legacy of love and kindness with never fade.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Ronald Bond; her siblings, Betty Jean Nail, Gerald Von Holten, and Donald Bond; her children, Jill & Todd Buttermore, Robin & Shawn Lopez, and Jeff Bond; her grandchildren, Skylar Buttermore, Alika & Anthony Marano, Claire Lopez, Peyton Lopez, Daven Bond, Katie Bond, and Aiden Bond; and her great-grandchildren, Leonardo Marano, Onofrio Marano, and Stella Marano.
Nancy is proceeded in death by her parents, George & Mary Von Holten and Clarence & Lolita Bond, as well as her sister, Carolyn Brown.
