Myra K Hagedorn

Myra Hagedorn 84, died February 19, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Hagedorn was born Oct. 14,1919 at Woodbine, KS, the daughter of Edward and Dora Meyer Brenner. She graduated from Burdick High School and attended Emporia State Teachers College. She taught school in Morris County for several years.
She was married to Don T Hagedorn June 5, 1943 in Columbus, Indiana. He survives.
She was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, and U.M.W. She taught Sunday School for many years.
She was a member of the V. F.W Ladies auxiliary and Women of the Moose, and belonged to the Rossville Literary Society. She was a Red Cross Volunteer at St. Francis Hospital and Winter General VA Hospital.
She served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years.Survivors include a daughter Donna Lasswell, and a son James R. Hagedorn Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One Grandchild preceded her in death
Services will be at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2004. Mrs. Hagedorn will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. Sunday and family will greet friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Rossville United Methodist Church.
