Murial Good Blevans, 89, Topeka, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 at Aldersgate Reirement Village.
She was born Feb. 9, 1916 at Barnard, KS , the daughter of William and Margaret Simpson Good.
She married John Paul Blevans on May 30, 1947 in Topeka. He died June 7, 1983.
She attended Dry Creek Elementary, Barnard High School and a business school in Wichita. She taught school several years and then worked for the Selective Service office in Lincoln, KS and in Topeka..
She was an active member of Tau Kappa Omega sorority, holding several offices for them. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Gladys Harper, Pittsburg, KS and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Clark and a brother, Emerson Good, both of Barnard.
Services will be 3:00 pm Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Entombment will be at Mt. Hope Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 600 SW Topeka Blvd., 66603.
