Morris N. Davis, 59, Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Morris was born September 13, 1948 in Emporia, the son of George T. and Flora H. (Morris) Davis. He was the youngest of three children.
Morris was a resident of Ponderosa House in Lawrence.
Survivors include two sisters; Georgia (Rick) Smalley, Auburn and Helen Pratt, Alamogordo, NM; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2008 at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Reading Cemetery in Reading. Morris will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
