Minnie Wasson, 89, of Topeka, passed away, Wednesday, December 24, 2003 at a Topeka retirement center.
She was born February 8, 1914 at Wilberton,, OK the daughter of Bert and Victoria Phillips.
She was a member of the Scranton Free Methodist Church.
She married Clarence Ralph, they later divorced. She married William Wasson November 4, 1954. He preceded her in death November 27, 1991. She was also preceded in death by one son Clarence Dean Ralph and a great granddaughter Charity Leeann Ralph and a great great grandson Zachary Addison Kirk. Survivors include:
Three sons, Rev. Lee Ralph Topeka, KS
Alvin Lee Ralph Phoenix, AZ
Wayne Ralph Carbondale, KS
One brother, Joe Phillips Topeka, KS
Three sisters, Mary Foster Wichita, KS
Josephine Larsen Oklahoma
Tina Vernetti Pittsburg, KS
10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Graveside inurnment services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2003 at Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend George Bingham will officiate.Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
